American String Teacher Association National Conference

I’m excited to be presenting at the 2026 American String Teachers Association’s National Conference in San Francisco, California, this February!

My session, “Awakening Intuitive Communication: Exploring Theatre Improv Games for Studio Teachers,” draws on my artistic background in classical music and theater, and my passion for communication and education. This interactive session explores the use of Viola Spolin’s improv theater games as tools to heighten sensory awareness and strengthen intuitive teaching skills.

I’m also joining the ASTA Studio Committee Roundtable on “Technology in the Private Studio”— and can’t wait to discuss new ideas!
